Washington Koi Show 2011 Grand Champion

Congratulations to Chris Charbonneau for winning Grand Champion at the 20th annual Washington Koi & Watergarden Society Koi Show! The competition was fierce in all size categories this year, with over 150 koi entered in the show. This Champion Taisho Sanke from Sakai of Hiroshima was purchased in 2006 as a Sakai Jumbo Tosai from Pan Intercorp. Truly a testament to both bloodlines and her Koi keeping abilities, Chris was able to raise this Sanke from a 13 inch Tosai to the 30 inch Grand Champion it is today. Excellent job Chris!

NW Koi Show Grand Champion

Pan Intercorp

Congratulations Tom Ayers on winning Grand Champion at the 2011 Northwest Koi & Goldfish show in Portland, Oregon this last weekend.

Pictured here is the Grand Champion… a beautiful Sakai Bred, Alexandria Bloodline Kohaku. This Kohaku was purchased by Tom at Pan Intercorp as a two year old and raised up to 30 inches in a very short time period. We think she still has room to grow and will be competing for Grand Champion at many more shows to come.

Congratulations Tom!
